England dropped  Archer from the second Test against West Indies following a breach of the team’s bio-secure protocols and the decision was announced just a few hours before the start of the match at Old Trafford on Thursday.

Talking about the same, Holdin said, “I have no sympathy at all. I don’t understand why people can’t just do what is required. I just want to ask a few questions about the ECB and these protocols, though. I understand that protocols should be put in place but they should be a little bit more logical.”

Holding directly questioned that how is it possible that Archer was allowed to travel between venues in a car in the first place.

Describing the same, as per the quotes in India Today, Holding said, “Why aren’t the England team traveling on a bus? If they have already passed the Covid test and everyone is together, they have six matches and are moving from one venue to another, why aren’t they just all on a bus? Why are they allowed to travel by car? People need to just think a bit.”

Jofra Archer has issued an apology for his huge mistake and he conceded that he had put not just his health but also the health of the entire team at risk by breaching the protocols.
