Michael Vaughan took to his Twitter to praise Jemimah Rodrigues  as he tweeted, “Another high-class player @Jemimah Rodrigues.”

Coming back to the game, Northern Superchargers decided to bat first after winning the toss against the Rockets. Rodrigues opened the side with Lauren Winfield Hill and they made a solid partnership of 64 runs for the first wicket and then went on to smash a classy half-century with the help of ten boundaries. Owing to her brilliance, her team set the target of 150 runs and won the match by a comfortable margin of 27 runs.

After her Phenomenal performance, Jemimah Rodrigues said, “When you are timing the ball well, make the most of it. I learned that while I was sitting out so just trying to extend the form. In the last game, I didn’t get many balls in the powerplay, today I wasn’t timing it initially.”

Talking about her another game that left people talking came against Welsh Fire on 24th July when she turned up as a lone fighter for her team. Her batting had class written all over it as she played a valiant knock of 92* off 43 to chase down 131. The knock included 17 boundaries and six and currently, she is the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 152 runs in two games.

After this performance, former English star Kevin Pietersen had also tweeted for her and added she is now his favourite player. She has made her comeback with another performance after struggling with the rough patch in her career.
