The Sri Lankan coach, Mickey Arthur may not be the most liked human being for the Islanders for multiple reasons. Despite India sending a comparatively weaker side to face off the Lankan Lions, hosts are reeling the ODI series 2-0. However, in these second ODI, the hosts were in control of the game for a good part of the second innings, but unfortunately, Deepak Chahar stole the game away from Sri Lanka at the end.
It was a great game of cricket between the two neighboring countries as the game had gone till the final over. It was an incredible knock from Dee[al Chahar, who literally stole the game away from the home side single-handedly. However, after the game, the Sri Lankan camp was not happy at all, with Mickey Arthur on the ground, who was seen having a heated conversation with skipper Dasun Shanaka. It was caught on camera and the fans started talking about it.

Eventually, Mickey Artur came up with a response to the tweet as well and he was not getting positive responses from the fans. Already, the team had played some poor cricket at the end and lost the opportunity to win the game.
Russ we win together and lose together but we learn all the time!Dasun and myself are growing a team and we both were very frustrated we did not get over the line!It was actually a very good debate,no need to make mischief out of it!

Well, despite the justification for the on-field spat, Sri Lanka’s poor performance in the game can’t be justified. Sri Lanka lost another ODI game and the series eventually. The last game of this three-match series will be played on the 23rd of July. It will be interesting to see if Team India makes any changes or not. Coach Micky Arthur will want to leave no stone unturned to finally win a match.
