India restricted Sri Lanka at a modest total in Mumbai, where both teams are playing the final T20 International of the three-match series. Opting to bowl after winning the toss, India bowled tight line and lengths as the visitors ended their innings at 135/7.
Sri Lanka never went off to a start which they were hoping to go despite a batting paradise. Jayadev Unadkat drew the first blood in this game as well before debutant Washington Sundar took his first T20I wicket. Asela Gunaratne was their top-scorer with 36 but took 37 balls for these runs which sum the Lankan story. Dasun Shanaka made a handy contribution with 29 at the end.
Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers with 2/15 in his quota of four overs. India needs to chase 136 down to complete a whitewash in the T20I series.
