The Chinnaswamy Stadium was at its vociferous best as its own AB De Villiers blasted in his usual streak of genius batting. The Superhuman batsman was blinding and as often was hitting balls out of the stadium and some went above the roof with a mega 111 meter six. Following RCB batsmen could not imitate the great man and the innings closed at only 205/8 runs.

ABD on rampage

Earlier in the night, MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to field first. CSK brought back fit Imran Tahir tonight at the expense of FAF Du Plessis and replaced Karn Sharma with Harbhajan Singh. RCB also did a change to their playing XI as they brought in Pawan Negi to replace Manan Vohra.

The innings fro RCB was opened by Virat and De Kock. Kohli once again was in sublime touch tonight as he was set about the task with some crisp boundaries. De Kock also supported him well and kept the run-rate at a decent notch in the powerplay. Kohli was dismissed for 18(15) as Jadeja took a brilliant catch on the bowling off Shardul.

The real explosives began after this. ABD tonight once again was in the murderous mood. After playing first four balls as a dot, ABD began his pyrotechnics in the next over of Harbhajan. He smacked the offie for two sixes and a boundary.

ABD stayed quite for the next few overs and returned in action as Shardul Thakur appeared. he smacked the medium pace bowler for three sixes off the first three balls and was all set to smack all six to the same fate. He then slowed down a little and was out to Imran Tahir. He scored 68(30) with two boundaries and eight sixes.

Corey Anderson was out next ball and the possibility of the collapse loomed large. Mandeep Singh that RCB reached a respectable score as he slammed 32 from 17 balls. The last over consisted Three wickets, a four and a six!

RCB ended with a final score of 205/8. Bravo who bowled a wicket maiden, went for 1/33 in his four overs. CSK will have to establish an IPL record of the highest chase at Chinnaswamy to win this game.
