Mitchell Marsh produced one of the most talked-about moments of IPL 2026 during the high-intensity clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The explosive Australian all-rounder unleashed a stunning straight six that not only electrified the crowd but also accidentally struck a cameraman positioned near the boundary ropes.

The incident took place during the powerplay when RCB pace spearhead Josh Hazlewood attempted to maintain tight lines with a good-length delivery outside off stump. Marsh, however, looked in complete control from the moment the ball left Hazlewood’s hand. Showing exceptional balance and timing, the LSG opener leaned into the shot and hammered the ball straight back over the bowler’s head for a massive six.

What initially appeared to be a routine maximum quickly turned dramatic as the ball travelled at great speed and hit the cameraman stationed beyond the ropes. The unexpected moment stunned players and fans inside the stadium, while social media instantly erupted with reactions to Marsh’s powerful strike.

Despite the concerning moment, the match continued after a brief pause, with Marsh once again reminding everyone why he remains one of the most destructive batters in T20 cricket.
