Australia’s left-arm fast bowler, Mitchell Starc has not been out of form of late as he conceded a plethora of runs during the T20I series against West Indies. He didn’t have the best of starts in the first couple of games as he leaked as many as 40 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Moreover, he ended up wicketless throughout the innings. Coming to the second T20I, he conceded 49 runs in 4 overs and remained wicketless as well.

Australia lost both the match in the third T20Is, which was a must-win encounter for the visitors in the Caribbean islands and Mitchell Starc managed to find some rhythm with the ball. The 31-year-old bowled at right line and length and gave away only 15 runs in his quota of 4 overs. He also took a wicket to his name. Starc maintained an exceptional economic rate of 3.80, in what was a good comeback.

But West Indies still pulled off a 6-wicket win and won the five-match T20I series by 3-0. Australia had a chance to stay alive in the series but West Indies buried their chances with ease. However, the visiting team then made a comeback scored 189/6 in 20 overs in the 4th T20I.

Mitchell Marsh has been in good form as he smashed 75 off 44 balls including 4 fours and 6 sixes. Australia captain Aaron Finch scored 53 off 37 balls including 5 fours and 3 sixes. In reply, West Indies also batted well and well on the verge of taking a 4-0 lead in the series. Opener Lendl Simmons top-scored with 72 off 38 balls including 10 fours and 2 sixes.

However, Mitchell Marsh dismissed him and dangerous Chris Gayle as well. When ferocious Andre Russell was trying to pick up the pace, Mitchell Starc stepped up and took his team over the line. When 11 runs were required off the last over, Starc unleashed his world-class bowling abilities.
