Moeen Ali Reveals He Enjoys Playing Alongside Virat Kohli

England all-rounder and Sharjah Warriors skipper, Moeen Ali has showered praise on former Indian skipper Virat Kohli, saying that he really admires the batting stalwart and enjoys his company. Sharjah Warriors are all set to face MI Emirates in the second match of the inaugural ILT20. Speaking with Zee Network, Ali said he has immense admiration for Kohli and that is very unique, adding that he hasn’t met anyone else like him in terms of his personality.

As per the quotes in India Today, Moeen Ali said, “I really admire Virat Kohli. He is definitely the one, he is somebody else as a player. He is the one you want to play with, spend time with him. He is very unique, I’ve not met anybody else like him in terms of his personality.”

The England all-rounder said he also enjoys the company of Kohli and finds former India captain MS Dhoni very inspiring.

Elaborating the same, Moeen Ali said, “Cricket-wise there are so many great players, but as a person, I really love Virat’s company. MS Dhoni is very inspiring.” The English all-rounder said that Indian fans should back Sharjah Warriors in the ILT20 because they are the underdogs with no superstars in their team.

Explaining it further, Moeen Ali said, “We are the underdogs like I said, there are no superstars in our team but we have the fight and we can show that spirit and Indian fans will enjoy watching us play and see the underdogs win.”

The inaugural edition of the International League T20 is scheduled to take place from Friday, January 13 to Sunday, February 12. 34 matches are set to take place over the next 30 days. MI Emirates is all set to face Sharjah Warriors in Abu Dhabi at 7:30 pm IST.
