The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) seems concerned about the availability of the English all-rounder Moeen Ali for the opening match on March 26. Moeen Ali is yet to get the visa approval for India and hence, he is yet to leave for India to join Chennai Super Kings.
During a chat with India Today, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said that the franchise is not sure of why there’s a delay in Moeen’s visa approval but expressed confidence that the issue will be sorted out soon.

Kasi Viswanathan said, “We spoke to him about the issue and he is hoping that matter will be resolved soon. All necessary documentation has been done but doesn’t know why his visa approval hasn’t come. As soon he will get his Visa he will fly to India and join the team.”
CSK will be playing the first game of the season against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday. CSK players have been training in Surat in the lead up to the new season. While the likes of MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu began training earlier this month, the other domestic stars and foreign players have started arriving.

Moeen Ali will be required to undergo a 3-day quarantine upon arrival in India. He is not part of the England Test team that is currently touring the West Indies after having retired from the longest format of the game.
India and overseas players have been allowed to do bubble to bubble transfer as well. Rohit Sharma and his Test team members joined their respective IPL sides via bubble-to-bubble transfer after completing the pink ball Test in Bengaluru.
