Former India player Mohammad Kaif has applauded Chennai Super Kings, saying that they’re a difficult side to beat on any ground. CSK are all set to take on Mumbai Indians in a much-awaited clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. While speaking to Star Sports, Kaif said that Mumbai Indians are always strong in home conditions but CSK are a difficult team to beat on any ground as well. However, MI will be looking to win their first points of the season after losing their opening game against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Meanwhile, former Australia all-rounder Tom Moody has said that there is a lot of pride in MI and CSK since they’re the two most successful teams in the cash-rich league. MI has won the IPL five times, whereas CSK have lifted the coveted trophy four times as well.

“In the 15 years of IPL, both CSK and MI share nine trophies between them. So, there’s a lot of pride in what these two extraordinary teams do and how they operate. These two teams have been doing well and the rivalry is good. It’s also going to be a big moment for MI captain Rohit Sharma as he’s playing at home and he might just come out all guns blazing tomorrow,” Moody further added.
