Mohammad Rizwan Feels Virat Kohli Will Soon Take Control Of Things

The former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli is going through a rough patch in his career across the formats. He seems to be struggling with finding the sync between the mind and the body while batting. He has not scored a century for more than three years now. However, He has gotten good starts on multiple occasions during this phase.

Virat Kohli can be seen struggling in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has scored only 216 runs in 12 innings with an awful average of less than 20. He has managed to score only 1 half-century so far in the season too at an ordinary pace. Kohli has failed to find his form in the course of 12 innings.

His performance in this season of IPL 2022 has been nothing more than disappointing. He has not been able to contribute much to the team’s success. The right-hander got out on the golden duck three times in the same season. Kohli got run out twice in this season. Mohammad Rizwan, the star batsman of Pakistan was asked about the same during his recent interaction with Crickwik.

Mohammad Rizwan was quick to respond and shared some positive thoughts about the scenario. Rizwan reaffirms that each and every cricketer goes through a ‘tough’ phase. He says that he is hopeful about Virat Kohli getting things back on track. The wicket-keeper went on to call the former Indian captain as ‘champion’.

Elaborating he same, Mohammad Rizwan said, “Virat Kohli is a champion player but the stage he is currently going through, we can only pray for him. Because he is a hard worker. Every player goes through such a phase. There are good times and then there are bad times.”

He further added, “All good players who have scored centuries, have been out for zero. This is a cycle of life. I am hopeful that with his hard work, he will be able to control things once again.”
