While the BCCI received a lot of flak for withholding Shami’s central contract, BCCI had cleared its stance that they had taken the decision due to the match-fixing accusations on the cricketer. They had nothing to do with his personal life and hence they awarded him the contract after it was confirmed that he wasn’t involved in any wrongdoings.

It is also being learned that he acknowledged of the same before Neeraj Kumar, the chief of BCCI’s ACU, who headed the inquiry of the Indian pacer. However, Shami is now being accused of lying about his financial transaction which was done by London-based businessman Mohammad Bhai via a Pakistani girl Alishba in Dubai.

It was found out that Shami was only cooking up stories of ‘financial gains’ from a businessman to somehow go and spend time with his female friends outside his marriage.”
