The Indian pacers, Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah delivered some pin-point yorkers during India’s first warm-up games of T20 World Cup 2021 against England, Shami claimed his third wicket on the night by cleaning up Liam Livingstone with a toe-crushing yorker. Shami has looked the most dangerous for India, as he took a wicket almost every over of his spell including his overs in the powerplay. He removed Jason Roy and Jos Buttler under the first six overs.

Livingstone was looking pretty good on the night, timing the ball well as eth pitch looked good to bat on. He was set at the crease and looked to push England further in the final few overs. However, Mohammed Shami bet Livingstone with pacer and accuracy. He bowled a pacy yorker that came in with the angle, smashing into Livingstone’s pads.

The Englishman attempted an ugly hoick across the line, only to see the ball crashing onto the leg-stump off his pads. The stumps lit up to give India the fourth wicket. Here is the video of the dismissal:

Jasprit Bumrah delivered an almost unplayable ball to England batsman Jonny Bairstow in the 19th over. Bairstow was going all guns blazing in the death before Jasprit Bumrah put brakes on his innings on the second ball of the penultimate over, preventing any further damage with a fiery yorker on Bairstow’s toe.
