The match is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where Shami secured his first wicket, marking his 100th scalp in the tournament. In his 94th IPL game, Shami successfully dismissed Devon Conway, reaching the coveted 100-wicket milestone.

Here is the video of Mohammed Shami dismissing Devon Conway:

This is the 94th IPL match of his IPL career, Mohammed Shami couldn’t have hoped for a more exciting start. Having said that, it is interesting to note that not once has Shami been able to secure a five-wicket haul in all the 10 seasons that he has played so far. The most wickets Shami has taken in a single inning is three and his career-best figures read 3/15 in 2020 against Delhi Capitals.

Shami has developed a penchant for clean-bowling opponents. He did that time and against Australia in the recently-concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this month.
