The Indian bowling attack is now considered as one of the best in world cricket. However, the pace attack is referred to as a dangerous among all who picked up seven of the ten Bangladesh wickets in Indore on the first day of the first Test match. Mohammed Shami, who bowled a stunning corker to pick Mushfiqur Rahim’s wicket, finished with a brilliant figure of 13-5-27-3, while Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav picked two scalps each.

“I want to bowl according to the conditions and the situation. I want to stick to my plans,” Mohammed Shami said at the end of play.

Mushfiqur Rahim’s dismissal was one of the highlights of the day as he was trying to steady the ship in the middle with Mominul Haque at first and then Mahmudullah and Liton Das. He scored 43 off 105 which included 4 boundaries and a six.

“I have been going wide of the crease too in the last two years. I plan according to the batsman. You always enjoy when you do well for your team and country. I was thinking about the hat-trick during the tea break, added Mohammed Shami.

The next delivery by Shami was seen even more dangerous as Mehidy Hasan Miraj was adjudged leg before wicket for a duck, leaving Shami with a hat-trick opportunity after their tea session. However, that was not all as other bowlers did pretty well too and India quickly managed to wrap the things up and bowled out Bangladesh for mere 150 on the board.
