The Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Shami has played some crucial knocks for India in Test cricket in recent times as he uses his six-hitting ability to his advantage. Shami did the same while facing Australia’s young spinner, Todd Murphy for back-to-back sixes in the 131st over of the Indian innings.

On the third ball of the over, Mohammed Shami made the most of the full delivery from Murphy and smashed it way inside the long-off boundary. Toddy Murphy managed to change his length on the next delivery, but Shami had no intention of keeping the ball down as he slog-swept it for a huge six over mid-wicket.

However, after the sixes, Mohammed Shami was dismissed in the next over by Murphy after scoring 37 off 47 balls. But his innings have played a crucial role for India and also told the batsmen how to play Murphy.

Earlier on Day 3, after the early dismissal of Ravindra Jadeja, the Australian team felt that now the Indian innings would end but Mohammed Shami, who landed at number 10, started attacking the bowlers as soon as he came. Shami played a fiery knock and turned the tables. India was in a commanding position at stumps on Day 2 as India was cruising at 321/7 with Ravindra Jadeja and Exar Patel surpassing the 50-run mark.
