Mohammed Siraj Did Ronaldo Celebration After Dismissing Rassie van der Dussen

The fiery Indian seamer, Mohammed Siraj did a celebration similar to that of the legendary footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, after dismissing Rassie van der Dussen during Day 3 of the opening Test of the three-match series in South Africa at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on Tuesday. This was South Africa’s fourth wicket in the innings.

However, there was a moment of distress for the visiting team as Jasprit Bumrah injured his right ankle in a freakish accident. Bumrah twisted his ankle badly while completing his follow-through, after delivering the fifth ball of the 11th over of the South African first innings and Mohammed Siraj completed the over. The latter got the wicket of Rassie van der Dussen in the next over itself and he imitated the celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Indian bowlers have the team a brilliant start on day 3 the fiery Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah drew the first blood by removing Proteas’s Test skipper, Dean Elgar ion the first over itself. Mohammed Shami came into the act after the lunch break to send back Keegan Peterson and Aiden Markram in quick succession.

The second day of the ongoing Test washed out due to consistent bursts of rain throughout the day. India witnessed a horrifying start on the third day as they went down from 272/3 at the start of the day to getting bundled out for just 327. KL Rahul scored a century for the visitors while his opening partner, Mayank Agarwal playing a useful knock of 60 on teh opening day.

India’s batting collapse was triggered by Lungi Ngidi (6/71) and Kagiso Rabada (3/72). It was Ngidi’s second 6-fer at the venue.
