The fiery Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Siraj won the heart of one of his fans as he reserved a very special gesture for him on Day 2 of the third Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. During the Test in Indore, Siraj was seen sharing a bottle of his energy drink with one of his fans across the fence while fielding on the boundary.

India, after registering dominating wins in the first couple of Tests over Australia in the four-match Test series, hasn’t had a pleasant outing in their outing at the Holkar Stadium. They struggled to fight hard with the bat against Australia, who seem to have found a resurgence within themselves after two catastrophic losses.

A video of the incident has gone viral on the micro-blogging site Twitter. While the Indian team was fielding, Mohammed Siraj walked back to his position at the boundary rope. He was offered his energy drink by the bearer on the sidelines when a young fan suddenly became very excited on seeing the Indian pacer from so close and started to cheer by calling out his name.

Just to cheer the young fan a little, Mohammed Siraj decided to share his energy drink from the bearer and tossed it towards the young fan, who caught it with immense delight. The video clip ended with the fan jumping with joy over the special moment he had just witnessed from the cricketer.

Speaking about Mohammed Siraj’s performance in this series, he has bagged only a solitary wicket in all three Tests so far. He went wicketless in Australia’s first innings on Day 2 of the third Test. He will be one of the crucial cogs for India after the Test series concludes in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, when both sides lock horns in the ODI series.
