India and Afghanistan will be locking horns with each other on November 03, 2021. While Afghanistan is standing at a better place than India on the points table, India needs something close to a miracle to stand a chance for reaching the semi-final round. In the same line of events, former English spinner, Monty Panesar reckons that the crucial member of the Indian team management MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Ravi Shatri aren’t on the same page.
Monty Panesar stated that India can still qualify and pull off a miracle but will have to win their remaining three games with huge margins. However, Kohli, Shastri, and MS will need to be kn the same page for that and it doesn’t feel that sync is there currently.

During a recent interview with Times of India, Monty Panesar said, “India can still qualify. They can still turn it around. But it needs a lot of things and all will depend on Virat, Ravi, and Dhoni. Virat, Ravi, and Dhoni need to be on the same page. I believe they are not.”
Moving further in the conversation, Monty Panesar added that people will always remember Kohli for being a great batter but will think that he failed as a leader. It is known to all that Kohli has developed himself as one of the greatest batters of the modern era, but he has failed lead the team to a major trophy.
Monty Pansesar explained, “People will remember Virat as a great batsman and massive chaser but will always criticize him as a leader because he couldn’t do anything when the team was under crisis and he failed to turn it around. India need to win all the three games massively.”
