Mumbai Indians team has faced a lot of up-downs in this season’s Indian Premier League. At one stage, they were as good as knocked out, but they managed a stunning recovery. After raising hopes, they lost at home against Rajasthan Royals which pegged them back. Now with a win over KXIP, they are back in contention with one match to go.

Even in the wins of Mumbai Indians, something was amiss. It was the consistent failure of their captain. A lot was expected from Rohit Sharma in this season as he had been in a great form while playing in India. But Rohit Sharma apart from his two half-centuries has really struggled. Even Sunil Narine has scored more runs than him in this season.

The Mumbai Captain understand his failures but is cheered up with his team performances. He has also copped up to the punishment handed by the team management in a great spirit which has even her wife being proud of it. They are implementing a solution for the players who don’t follow the assigned schedules of regular gym sessions. These players have to wear emoji kits.

While the cause of punishment for Rohit Sharma is not clear, it is sure that he received the punishments. His wife Ritika Sajdeh captured her husband in emoji kit and uploaded it via her Instagram Story. She even had the caption “This was inevitable”.

Mumbai will play their last league game at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi against Delhi Daredevils (DD) on Sunday which is again a must-win game for them to qualify for the playoffs.
