Though MS Dhoni will be serving as the mentor of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup, the veteran has been already performing the role unofficially for the last couple of years in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He isn’t the mentor for any team but he has often been seen guiding several youngsters from the other franchises even as he is leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

To get some tips the genius, a youngster wishes to improve, and who better than MS Dhoni to do it! CSK faced Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday in the afternoon game and the teams were involved in a last-ball thriller. CSK prevailed eventually with Ravindra Jadeja playing a quickfire knock to get the team over the line.

It has become a daily routine for the players now for the players to chit-chat with the cricketers from the other team after the game. And MS Dhoni is never behind when it comes to sharing tips with the youngsters who are doing well.

The wicket-keeper batsman was seen having a chat with two of the best KKR players in the second IPL leg so far, Venkatesh Iyer and Rahul Tripathi. The duo has been doing a phenomenal job with the bat for the team on the day but got out at the wrong time leaving the team in a little bit of trouble. Both were set and needed one of them to play a big knock to take KKR to reach a winning score.

While Iyer scored 18 runs, Tripathi smashed 45, and probably MS Dhoni might be giving them the tips on how not to lose the wicket especially after getting set. CSK’s official Twitter handle shared the pictures of the duo listening carefully to what the veteran cricketer was saying.
