Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has a decent outing in terms of their batting in the first game against the Delhi Capitals (DC). They even posted a competitive total of 188/7 in their allotted quota of 20 overs but lost the game. On the other hand, Punjab Kings (PBKS) amassed a huge score of 221/6 in their quota of 20 over and won the game by 4 runs. Now, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, CSK locked horns with PBK in their second game at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
After winning the toss, MS Dhoni asked Punjab to bat first. After losing the first game, CSK players made a fantastic start to their second game. Punjab Kings struggled to get going from the word go and they fell prey to CSK bowlers. Deepak Chahar made a complete mess of Mayank Agarwal’s stumps as the latter departed for a duck.

KL Rahul (5) was run out owing to a brilliant throw from Ravindra Jadeja in the 3rd over. Deepak Chahar bowled really well by getting rid of two dangerous batsmen Chris Gayle (10) and Deepak Hooda (10) in the 5th over.
Deepak Chahar continued doing his job of ripping through the defense of the Punjab Kings’ batting line-up. When PBKS were batting on 19/3, Chahar dismissed West Indies batsman, Nicholas Pooran for a duck. After that, Shah Rukh Khan came out to bat.

Chahar delivered yet another peach of delivery as the batsman missed it completely. The ball was seen crashing on the batsman’s pads and Chahar was convinced that it was out and even made a full-hearted appeal. But when the umpire didn’t raise his finger, Chahar suggested MS Dhoni in taking the DRS but the skipper ignored it.
