MS Dhoni Meets His Fan During His Vacation

MS Dhoni might have retired from international cricket but his popularity hasn’t been reduced a bit. While he has inspired an entire generation to take up cricket, his millions of fans still remember him. And, recently once again something related to this happened which stole the limelight.

Recently, the Meenabagh Resort staff in Ratnari met MS Dhoni. While fans’ meeting is quite normal, it was something special for the entire staff and especially, Dev, who had got himself transferred from Shimla to the Ratnari branch of Meenabagh Resort homes just to meet his idol and play steward with him as well.

And, Dev has finally received an autograph from his idol, MS Dhoni, on his phone cover. This is special for him as it came after 13 long years as earlier he couldn’t meet with Dhoni when he came to Rohru (Himachal Pradesh) for a tournament because of his heavy police security. However, the fan has finally got an autograph from MS Dhoni on his phone cover and he said that he will never change it.

However, MS Dhoni will soon return to action when the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League resumes in the United Arab Emirates during September-October as well. Meanwhile, KL Rahul, the current India batsman has also applauded Dhoni in a recent interaction with Forbes.

“The minute anyone says ‘captain’, the first name that comes into anybody’s mind from our generation, our era, will be MS Dhoni,” said KL Rahul. “We have all played a lot of cricket under him. Yes, he has won a lot of big tournaments and done so many amazing things for the country but the biggest achievement any captain can have is have the respect of your teammates and any of us will happily take a bullet for him without a second thought,” said KL Rahul during an exclusive interview with Forbes India.
