When the ever-reliable MS Dhoni misses a stumping chance on the cricket field, cricket fans see one of the rarest sites on the cricket field. As on Thursday, during the 4th ODi against Australia in Bengaluru, Dhoni missed the chance to stump out Aaron Finch off teh bowling Yuzvendra Chahal.

The incident happened when Chahal bowled an unexpected straight delivery and Finch missed his balance while coming down the track and completely missed the delivery. Dhoni who was unable to view the trajectory of the ball completely miscalculated it and let it through for a bye.

Australians are cruising in the match as their openers haven’t lost their wickets ee after 34 overs and managed to score 222. However, Finch was dismissed by Umesh Yadav in the 36th over. Here is the video of the missed chance:
