MS Dhoni will once again don the captain’s hat as Chennai Super Kings take on arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in their much-anticipated IPL 2025 clash on Sunday, April 20, at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. As two of the most successful franchises in IPL history prepare for battle, all eyes will be on Dhoni, both for his tactical genius and trademark finishing skills.

On the eve of the big match, Dhoni added a touch of humour to the tension during CSK’s net session. A light-hearted moment between him and his former teammate Deepak Chahar caught everyone’s attention. Now representing the Mumbai Indians after being picked up for ₹9.25 crore in the mega auction, Chahar cheekily tried to tease Dhoni during training.
In response, Dhoni playfully chased him with a bat, much to the amusement of everyone present. CSK shared the fun moment on X, and the clip went viral instantly, evoking laughter and nostalgia among fans.

This isn’t the first time Dhoni has shared such a moment with Chahar. After CSK’s previous match against MI in Chennai on March 23, the legendary skipper playfully tapped Chahar with his bat then too.
