It seems like the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper, MS Dhoni is ready to bowl a couple of overs if the push comes to shove during the upcoming season of IPL as he is training ahead of the tournament. Many feel that this could be the last season for Dhoni in IPL. The franchise will be returning to its spiritual home of Chepauk this season with the fans eagerly waiting to see their charismatic captain and the team as they eye their fifth IPL Championship.
CSK did make some big moves in the IPL auction when he roped in the English all-rounder, Ben Stokes. They will also welcome back Deepak Chahar, who missed IPL last year, and also Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the latter stages of last season through injury.

While many expected the CSK skipper to focus mainly on his batting and wicketkeeping, the fans were pleasantly surprised when the franchise released their new video titled ‘multiverse of Mahi’. In the video, Dhoni is shown rolling his arm over and bowling at himself.

While many have been saying that this is the last IPL season for Dhoni, former CSK opener, Shane Watson doesn’t think it is the case. Watson said that the CSK skipper looks fit and can continue to play for another three or four years.

Explaining the same, Shane Watson said, “I heard that this is the last IPL of MS Dhoni but I don’t think. MS Dhoni can continue to play for the next three to four years. He is still very fit and batting and wicket-keeping really well. His leadership is something that is as good as his game. His fitness and mind-reading of the game make him a good leader. His skills on the ground are awesome. He is one of the main reasons that CSK is successful.”
