Team India ended the year 2018 on a winning note by claiming a victory in the Melbourne Boxing Day Test, hence bringing home the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The last time India toured Australia, the then Indian skipper MS Dhoni had shocked the world as he decided to hang his boots from Test cricket. This was in 2014 and the series was won 2-0 by Australia. This time, India is having an unassailable 2-1 lead ahead of the last Test. Former Indian captain who is off national duty chose to celebrate his New Year’s with his adorable 3-year-old daughter Ziva.

Dhoni’s wife Sakshi captured several adorable videos of her husband and daughter playing at the beach and swimming pool. It was posted on the Dhoni’s official Instagram account. He posted a multi-video post of his sand trap for Ziva at the beach. He also added a caption quite evidently reminiscing his old childhood memories.

Former Indian skipper relived his childhood days and captions of the post tells the same, it read: “As a kid whenever v got sand this was one thing v would do for sure”.  Here is the video of the same:

In the above video, MS sets a “trap” for his daughter and how she successfully escapes it. Another video of the father-daughter duo was posted by MS Dhoni’s fans in that video the father and daughter are seen to be jumping on a trampoline. They also had the company of dogs. Little Ziva was enjoying every moment to the fullest and the father-daughter pair looked more adorable than ever!

MS Dhoni has always been known as a family man and he has proved it yet again. He will be going to Australia to join the India team for the ODI series and until then he is making full use of family time. His name was incorporated not only to the Australia series squad but also to the squad that will tour New Zealand. He will represent India in both ODI and T20I series against New Zealand.
