MS Dhoni, hailing from humble beginnings in Ranchi, has journeyed to legendary status, becoming a symbol of inspiration. Although he retired from international cricket some time ago, the prospect of his return to the IPL in 2024 has thrilled fans worldwide.

Dhoni’s fashion sense, a facet of his persona often celebrated, has garnered a dedicated following. In a recent viral video from an event, Dhoni candidly shared the hidden struggles of keeping up with his new hairstyle.

“Earlier when I used to go for ad films, I usually got ready in 20 minutes, hair, makeup, everything. Now it takes 1 hour, 5 minutes – 1 hour, 10 minutes. It’s a bit boring, just sitting on that chair and waiting, but all my fans have appreciated my hairstyle. So, I’ll try to keep it for some time. I agree with you (as the crowd started applauding) but it’s quite a task to maintain this. I’ll try to keep it, but maybe one fine day I might decide to chop it off,” expressed MS Dhoni during the event.

Despite the recent knee surgery in early June, the 42-year-old is currently undergoing rehabilitation to ensure his fitness for IPL 2024. While his participation for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the upcoming tournament is confirmed, speculation looms among fans regarding his future beyond this season. Addressing the curiosity, CSK’s CEO Kasi Viswanathan remarked that only Dhoni himself holds the key to whether IPL 2024 marks his final stint.

“That I do not know. See, as far as the captain is concerned, he will answer you directly. He does not tell us what he is going to do. He is doing well now. He has started his rehab. He started working in the gym. And, probably in another 10 days, he’ll start working in the nets also,” disclosed Viswanathan to The Indian Express. The uncertainty adds an extra layer of anticipation for fans eagerly awaiting Dhoni’s next move in the cricketing arena.
