It seems Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani is living his golden days. First, his team MI won the Indian Premier League for record third time and now he retains his position as the richest Indian in the latest list released by Forbes magazine.
Ambani’s current wealth is Rs. 2.47 lakh crore or USD 38 billion and he remained the richest Indian for the tenth consecutive year. Since he launched Reliance Jio in 2016, his wealth increased by 67%, which played the key role in this massive success. On the other hand, Junior Ambani stands on the 45th place with 1.25 billion USD as his current wealth. Meanwhile, Ambani breaks into the top five richest Asians as well.
Mukesh Ambani bought IPL team Mumbai Indians in the inaugural edition of this marquee league and his wife Neeta Ambani looks after the franchise. Like the owner, Mumbai also gained massive success in the T20 league as they are the most successful team in this league. In May earlier this year, Paltan won their third IPL trophy. Apart from it, they have won Champions League twice as well.
