Mumbai Indian’s owner Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani recently hosted a grand Diwali party for their Indian Premier League (IPL) team members. Players like captain Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, the Pandya brothers (Hardik and Krunal), coach Mahela Jayawardena along with others attended the occasion. Mumbai Indian’s official Twitter handle posted the picture of the event where a fan asked about Jasprit Bumrah, although Sachin Tendulkar too was not present there. However, one fan asked if Bumrah has changed his team and gone to Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In the event, Yuvraj Singh was present with his wife Hazel Keech while former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan also came with his wife Sagarika Ghatge, the Bollywood actress. Jasprit Bumrah has been one of the best bowlers across formats in recent times. Ever since he made his international debut in January 2016, Jasprit Bumrah has taken only a couple of years to be in the top.

The speedster is currently out of action as he is recovering from a stress fracture in his lower back. He missed India’s recent series where they clean sweep South Africa in the Test series but their bowling coach Bharat Arun revealed that Bumrah doesn’t need surgery now to overcome his back problem and that certainly good news. He also revealed that Bumrah’s recovery is going on well and hopes he will return to the side before their away Test series in New Zealand.
India, however, will play next month against Bangladesh for three-match T20I and a two-match Test series.
