On Thursday, it was the turn of former India fast bowler, Irfan Pathan, who took to Twitter and took a huge dig at Abdul Razzaq. Pathan, without mentioning Razzaq’s name in his post, asked fans to ignore what he deemed as “unnecessary over the top statements”.

While every wish was unique, Bumrah’s Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians’ birthday wish was a class apart. Mumbai Indians, through their tweet, not only wished Bumrah on his special day but also trolled Abdul Razzaq for calling their star player a “baby bowler”.

Tagging Bumrah in their tweet, Mumbai Indians tweeted: “From a ‘baby bowler’ to a world-beater”.

In an interview with cricketpakistan.com.pk Razzaq had said that he had faced great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so for him, Bumrah was a “baby bowler”.
