Pakistan’s players Naseem Shah and Azam Khan almost came to blows in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League tournament. The two players are playing in BPL 2023. Khan is a part of the Khulna Tigers team, while Shah represents the Comilla Victorians. During a match between Tigers and Victorians earlier tonight at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
The Tigers received an invitation to bat first from the Victorians. Shai Hope’s unbeaten 91-run knock and Tamim Iqbal’s 95-run knock guided the Tigers to a 210-run total in their 20 overs. In reply, an unbeaten 56-ball 107* from Johnson Charles guided the Comilla Victorians home with seven wickets in hand. The Victorians chased the target down in just 18.2 overs.
If the target would have been of 230 runs, even that was gettable at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. As mentioned ahead, Naseem Shah and Azam Khan almost had a fight during the Bangladesh Premier League match in Sylhet earlier today.
The two Pakistan players played for different teams in the tournament, with Shah donning the Comilla Victorians’ jersey and Khan batting for the Khulna Tigers. Azam Khan came out to bat in the final phase of the Khulna Tigers’ innings. He got to play only four balls, where he hit a four and a six and aggregated 12 runs.
Naseem Shah was the best bowler for his team Comilla Victorians as he bowled a spell of 1/34 in his four overs. When Azam Khan came out to bat in the match against the Victorians, Shah went to greet him. However, Khan seemed in a serious mood and pushed the Pakistani pacer away from him. Shah took it light-heartedly and mocked him by walking like him just behind him.
