The ongoing four-match Test series between Australia and India has been witnessing the increase in the intensity with each passing game. Both teams are doing their best to extract every possible advantage. The two captains Virat Kohli and Tim Paine were engaged in banter on the field during the Perth Test. The umpire Chris Gaffaney had to remind both captains of their responsibilities and asked them to carry on with the game. Paine defended himself by saying that they are just having a conversation.

Popular Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah had then claimed that the Indian skipper is the worst behaved played in the world. In a Facebook post, the veteran actor wrote that the brilliance of Kohli is fainted by his antics on the field. He also took a jibe on Kohli by further writing that he had no intention of leaving the country.

Shah’s Facebook post read: “Virat K is not only the world’s best batsman but also the world’s worst-behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners. And I have no intention of leaving the country by the way.”

Mr. Shah admitted that he respects the Indian captain as a batsman and argued that Kohli should think about his behavior. He reminded that Kohli’s predecessors carried themselves with dignity on the field. Shah further added that Kohli should try to learn from his predecessors.

Naseeruddin Shah said, “I admire his cricket but he should think of his on-field behavior. People can lip-read in slow motion. He should behave with dignity like his predecessors.”
