If you are a cricket fan and not yet heard anyone comparing Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, then you must be under a rock. It’s legitimate that people bring on comparisons for the best of their era. Sachin is considered as God of the cricket world and Virat at age 29 is on a way to make and break every huge record by the little master. Kohli idolizes Sachin and hates to get compared to the legend. Sachin on another hand to appreciates Kohli and his improvements with the willow.

But Nasser Hussain has other thoughts.He gave an extra point to Kohli. Hussain loves Kohli as he is very aggressive in his game and is a great chaser. Kohli makes it a point to always take India through but Sachin on other hand has always got an assist from his teammates.

“I think Kohli is magnificent in a run chase, I have to say. He has won so many matches for India. With Sachin, there were others to win games with the fab five; Laxman, Dravid, Ganguly and Sehwag and him.” Nasser said to India Today.

But he also said that Sachin’sgreatness can never be ignored.

“But you don’t get a 100 hundred without winning games for India. Sachin also had to play a lot of great attacks. As a 16-year-old boy, he had to face Imran Khan, Waqar, Wasim and Qadir and to get two 50’s and a hundred in England as an 18-year-old and two hundred in Australia in his first series there,” he added.

He said that it’s not far that Kohli will be able to break Sachin’s records. Kohli has always turned down to Sachin in times of trouble. In 2013 when he was going through a rough patch in his career, Sachin helped him out. Kohli has said in his interviews that he hates being compared to his idol. But Sachin too believes Kohli will soon match his records and he deserves it. We would definitely love to see what happens in future.
