Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is locking horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Hardik Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic has been a constant feature in all of Gujarat Titans’ games this IPL season.

Earlier, GT skipper, Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first. Both the teams made one change in their respective XIs as for RCB, Siddharth Kaul replaced Mohammed Siraj, whereas, Lockie Ferguson came in for Alzarri Joseph in GT’s XI. Despite scoring 14 runs in the first over, GT had a shaky start as they lost Shubman Gill in the third over itself owing to a brilliant catch by Glenn Maxwell in the second innings.

Wriddiman Saha was playing at 31 off 22 balls and was looking good but a mix-up in the 9th over led to his dismissal. As the Gujarat Titans skipper tried to accelerate his inning, during one of his attempts to strike a big shot, Hardik’s bat slipped out of his hand and went flying away toward the umpire near the leg side.

Thankfully the bat landed in no man’s land and no harm was done to anyone on the field, the reaction from Hardik’s wife Natasa Stankovic really said it all. She appeared just as shocked as anyone inside the stadium.
