The ODI series between Sri Lanka and India is a week away from commencing and the players of both teams are leaving no stone unturned in teh preparations of the series. Under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan and his deputy Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Team India will look to give their best shot in the series.

The first of the three-match ODI series will begin on July 17. The second ODI will kick off on July 19 while the third and final ODI will be played on July 21. The three-match T20I series kicks off just after a three-day gap. The T20I opener will kick off on July 24 while the second T20I is scheduled to be held on July 25. The third and final T20I is slated to be held on July 27.

As the Indians are preparing for the series, they are a bit busy in several intra-squad games daily. Sri Lanka Cricket shared the video footage on social media in which the dynamic youngsters like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Navdeep Saini, and Chahar brothers bring the best out of themselves. 

The likes of fast bowlers namely Deepak Chahar and Navdeep Saini were teh pick of the bowlers and they were looking in fine form to challenge the Sri Lankan team. During the intra-squad match, there was one such moment that hogged the limelight. It is nothing but Navdeep Saini’s gem of a delivery.

The delivery was so good that not even attacking batsman Devdutt Padikkal could come up with an answer. Here is the video of the incident:

Navdeep Saini bowled a jaffa to dismiss Devdutt Padikkal and it also tempted the latter to react to the situation. The southpaw, all of a sudden, got an inside edge and the ball traveled towards the wicketkeeper. The clip also showed spinner Rahul Chahar delivering his usual leg-breaks to Pandya.
