In a sensational display of batting prowess, Gujarat Titans’ openers Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill orchestrated a breathtaking batting spectacle against Chennai Super Kings on Friday (May 10) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Opting to bowl first, CSK found themselves at the receiving end of a relentless onslaught as Gill and Sudharsan unleashed a barrage of powerful strokes.
With their playoff hopes dwindling, the GT duo embraced freedom at the crease, unfurling a batting masterclass that culminated in magnificent centuries. During the powerplay, GT sprinted to 58 without loss, with Gill and Sudharsan showcasing their sublime strokeplay.
Their partnership flourished, reaching the 100-run mark by the tenth over. Sudharsan notched up his fifty in the ninth over, closely followed by Gill’s milestone in the 11th.
