Indian skipper, Virat Kohli is arguably one of the most decorated batsmen of modern-day cricket and he is celebrating his 32nd birthday on Thursday, and wishes poured in for him from all the corners of the world. The cricketing fraternity flooded the social media platforms to wish one of the greatest of modern-day cricket. Talking about his records, they are just too good for a player as he loves making and breaking, and yet he never fails to be most competitive on the field.
In his career of 248 ODI for India, Virat Kohli has amassed 11,867 runs. He has also played as many as 86 Test matches for the nation in which he has scored 7,240 runs with the highest of 254*. In T20I cricket, he has played 82 matches and scored 2,794 runs. Kohli celebrated his 32nd birthday with his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team-mates in the UAE on Thursday.

The RCB skipper has led his team to their first IPL 2020 playoffs after a gap of four years and will be playing the eliminator against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Friday. The winner of that match will face the loser of the Mumbai Indians-Delhi Capitals clash to progress to the finals of the tournament.
While the whole world was busy talking about Virat Kohli’s greatness on his birthday, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) looked in some different mood. They posted a video of the famous delivery by the leg-spinner Adil Rashid during one of the earlier ODIs between the two teams.

Virat was unable to read Rashid’s delivery on the leg stump that ran past his outside edge to hit the stumps. Posting the taunting clip on FB, ECB wrote, “Happy Birthday Virat Kohli” with a teasing smile emoji. Fans took no time to slam the Board.
Meanwhile, after the completion of IPL 2020, Kohli will be leading the Indian team in all three formats for a mega-series against Australia. India would be locking horns with the Kangaroos for three ODIs and as many T20Is followed by four Tests in the coming months. At the moment, he will be keen on winning the match for RCB in the eliminator against SRH.
