However, Angelo Mathews has been missing from the squad recently due to contract issues with the board. WaninduHasaranga also answered other exciting questions as he revealed that Lasith Malinga is his favorite bowler. He also stated that “Googly” is his favorite wicket-taking delivery and loves deceiving the batsmen with it.

Wanidu Hasaranga is a valuable asset in the current Sri Lankan team as he recently received the player of the Series in the recently concluded T20I series against India. As mentioned earlier, his performances also saw him bag an IPL contract with RCB for the remainder of IPL 2021.

Hasaranaga will prove to be a great addition to the RCB squad and his presence alongside Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell will make the side a deadly one. Wanindu Hasaranga is a fierce leg-break bowler and a robust lower-middle order batter. He has represented Sri Lanka in 26 ODIs and 22 T20Is, in which he has scalped 25 and 33 wickets, respectively. He has an economy of just 6.26 in T20Is, which makes him a dangerous bowler.
