New Zealand Reveals Nostalgic T20I Jersey Ahead Of The Home Season

New Zealand has done a decent job after a heartbreaking end to their World Cup campaign. The Black Caps had unexpectedly reached the final for the second time in a row. However, the ended up losing to hosts England due to the boundary-count ruled. But it did not take New Zealand long to bounce back and get back to winning ways.

On the tough tour of Sri Lanka, the Kiwis drew the Test series 1-1 before winning the T20Is 2-1. The Kane Williamson and his now looking forward to the upcoming home season which kick-starts with the blockbuster series against England. New Zealand will have a chance to avenge their World Cup loss when they host the reigning 50-over world champions.

And ahead of the home season, New Zealand has unveiled their T20I jersey. As usual, the Black Caps have once again made a beautiful jersey. New Zealand jerseys have always been admired by fans from across the world and one can say that the fans will like the new jersey again. While grey was the main color of their previous T20 jersey, New Zealand has preferred azure for their latest one, which is quite similar to the ODI jersey they use to wear in the 90s.

New Zealand Cricket took to Instagram to reveal the new jersey. They posted a photo of Martin Guptill wearing the new jersey with the caption, “What do we have here?” Unlike the last one, the new jersey also does not have stripes. The last jersey had black stripes on. This jersey was used by Blackcaps back in 2000.

Meanwhile, the New Zeland team is all set to have a bumper season at home. They will host England, India, and Australia. The home season will start with the Test and T20I series against England. India will then visit New Zealand for two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is. New Zealand will then host Australia for three T20Is.
