BCCI had recently postponed the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) until further notice only after 29 matches due to the COVID-19 outbreak within the bubble. But West Indies cricketer Nicholas Pooran witnessed a forgettable outing while playing for the Punjab Kings. The franchise persisted with him despite him failing almost in every game and had to drop him eventually to accommodate Dawid Malan in the line-up.

Pooran bagged four ducks in six innings apart from it, he registered scores being 9 and 19. Though he batted lower down the order at five or six, the southpaw had a chance of making an impact. But somehow, he could never manage to get going and struggled when the team needed him.

However, the 25-year-old isn’t discouraged with a poor show and has vowed to come back stronger than ever. Rather he has taken these scores to motivate himself and will keep working hard to make sure such scores don’t repeat themselves.
