Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Nitish Rana’s wife, Saachi Marwah, was recently involved in a horrific incident as a couple of boys ‘stalked’ her car and even hit it when she was on her way back home. Taking to Instagram, she explained the incident in her story. She even revealed that she attempted to report the matter to the Delhi Police, but the authorities were of no help either.
She attempted to lodge a complaint; however, the authorities told her that she should let it go since she had already reached home safely and that she should note the number on the vehicle the next time.

“Just a casual day in Delhi, on my way back home from work! These guys randomly started hitting my car! Just no reason, stalked and chased and the police told me on the phone when I complained, ‘so now that you’ve reached home safe, let it go! Next time, number note kar lena’ (note the number next time), aye aye captain, next time, I’ll take their phone numbers also!” she wrote on her Instagram story.

Talking about the performances of Nitish Rana, the 29-year-old has been leading from the front as the skipper of the two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders. With 275 runs in 10 games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 so far, Rana has been one of the best performers for his side.

Furthermore, he recently became the fourth cricketer in the team’s history to score 2000 runs for them in the IPL. In the 80 innings that Rana has featured in for Kolkata, he has amassed 2019 runs to his name and made his name in the list of highest run-getters alongside the likes of Andre Russell, Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir.
He achieved the feat in Kolkata’s recent win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 47 of the IPL 2023, where his knock of 42 runs in 31 balls in the first innings of the game proved to be crucial for the two-time champions.
