India and Mumbai Indians’ star all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, survived a major injury in today’s match against SunRisers Hyderabad. The younger of the Pandya brothers was introduced into the attack in the eight over by his captain, Rohit Sharma.

Running into his first delivery stride, Pandya’s right foot did not land in the aptest way. In what be termed as an unsuccessful landing, Pandya suffered a frightful fall. Fortunately, it did not hurt him in the way it looked too. Closest to Pandya at that moment was SunRisers’ batsman, Shikhar Dhawan, who immediately checked on Pandya if he was in any pain. Situations like these bring out the best of players when you have the Fairplay Award contention.
