Tennis legend Novak Djokovic added a touch of stardom to the Docklands Stadium on Sunday, January 12, as he attended the Big Bash League (BBL) clash between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades. Djokovic, known for his dominance on the tennis court, appeared equally engrossed in the cricketing drama.
The standout moment came when Marcus Stoinis of the Stars launched a towering shot that seemed destined for the roof, only to fall short and land safely in the hands of long-on fielder Kane Richardson. The incident occurred during the eighth over of the Stars’ innings. Stoinis, facing Tom Rogers, connected sweetly with a full delivery, sending the ball soaring into the sky.

The spectacle left many, including Djokovic, astonished at how such a mammoth strike failed to clear the boundary.
