Bangladesh cricket team pulled off an unexpected series win over Australia in the 5-match T20I series. Nobody really expected them to win the series but they have won it by a 4-1 margin at home. With T20 World Cup scheduled to be held this year, teams are actively playing T20Is. Meanwhile, Australia seems to be a huge spot of bother in the shortest format of the game. They are the only top team that is yet to win a T20 World Cup.

Besides that, the current form of the team can put them in the underdog category for the T20 World Cup. After getting humiliated at the hands of the Caribbeans, Aussies suffered yet another humiliation against Bangladesh. The short tour comprised five-match T20I series and all the games took place at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Bangladesh took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series by winning the first three games with a lot of grit and determination. With that, they registered their first-ever international series win against the Aussies. However, the visitors managed to find a way to win the fourth T20I to register their first win in the series. During the final T20I, Nurul Hasan trolling the Australian batsmen got caught on stump mic and the video of the same went viral. 


During the fifth T20I between Bangladesh and Australia, funny comments of wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan’s funny remarks were caught on stump mic. Bangladesh won the match by 60 runs and won the series by 4-1. Amidst the memorable win, Nurul Hasan had some fun. Here is the video of some of his comments:

During the first ball of the 14th over, Shakib Al Hasan dismissed Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa came out to bat as the 11th man. At that time, the hosts were on top of the game. Aussies had required as many as 65 runs at a run rate of 9 with just 1 wicket in hand.

Meanwhile, the wicketkeeper had urged Shakib to finish the match early as he wanted to go home after a long time. He spoke in Bengali that roughly translates to, “Please finish the match early. Will go home after a long time.”
