Team India as well as Mumbai Indians all-rounder, Hardik Pandya has shared that his family has donated 200 oxygen concentrators to the rural areas of the country amid the crunch time of global pandemic COVID-19. However, the country has been fighting against the deadly virus as well.
However, the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League has been taking place across six venues in India amid this situation. But a few cricketers have found it difficult to stay in the bio-bubble and decided to quit, although they couldn’t reach their country as those countries have banned flights from India as of now.

Meanwhile, many cricketers have come forward and contributed to various COVID relief funds which also included Pat Cummins, Brett Lee, batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Shikhar Dhawan, Nicholas Pooran, Sreevats Goswami, and others as well. However, Hardik Pandya, in a recent interview with the host broadcaster before the start of the MI-CSK game, has acknowledged the tough time that the country is going through and expressed his gratitude towards all the frontline workers who have come forward to help others as well.
However, Hardik Pandya further added that his family was talking about how to help out and they finally decided to donate 200 oxygen concentrators to the rural parts of India where the medical infrastructure needs more support compared to the cities as well.

“We all understand the difficulty that our country is undergoing at this period of time. Gratitude to all the medical staff, frontline workers and all the individuals who have come out and held their hands at such times to fight out the battle. Krunal, myself and my mother – basically our entire family, we were finding ways at trying to help out. We decided to donate 200 oxygen concentrators to the rural parts of India where I feel the medical infrastructure needs more support. We all understand it’s difficult, we want to show our gratitude, support and just want to tell everyone that they’re always there in our prayers,” said Hardik Pandya as quoted by CricBuzz.
