In the ongoing clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Pat Cummins showcased his fielding prowess, ending Krunal Pandya’s promising knock with a brilliant throw. LSG’s skipper, KL Rahul, won the toss and elected to bat first, but the team’s top order failed to capitalize on the decision.

Quinton de Kock’s early dismissal for just 2 runs, courtesy of a stunning catch by Nitish Reddy, set the tone for their innings. Sanvir Singh added to LSG’s woes with another spectacular catch in the fifth over, dismissing Marcus Stoinis for a mere 3 runs, leaving LSG struggling at 21 for 2.

To boost the innings, Krunal Pandya was promoted up the order and injected some momentum with a couple of sixes. However, LSG faced another setback in the tenth over when Pat Cummins sent Rahul back to the pavilion.
