However, Cummins intervened in the 10th over, shattering their partnership and leaving Punjab Kings reeling at 58 for 4. Curran attempted a lofted shot off T Natarajan’s delivery, seemingly aiming for a boundary over mid-off.

Initially appearing out of reach, Cummins sprinted backward, leapt into the air, and clutched the ball with both hands before safely landing on the ground. Despite the challenging catch, Cummins maintained control, ensuring Curran’s departure after a brief but impactful 29 runs off 22 balls.

As of the latest update, Punjab Kings stood at 75 for 4 in the 12th over, requiring 108 more runs for their third victory of the season. Earlier in the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad, under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan, opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Despite a shaky start, SRH posted a competitive total of 182/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
