Recently, Pakistan Super League (PSL) has drafted two Chinese cricketers for the next season in order to boost the game of cricket in China.
According to the reports of Pakistan’s official news agency APP, the two players of the Chinese national cricket team will play for Peshawar Zalmi in the next edition PSL.
It is pretty surprising that China has both men and women cricket teams, which took part in some international tournaments still yet to make an impact on international cricket. The players have already been selected for the Chinese national team and soon they will be signing the formal contract for Peshawar Zalmi in Beijing in the presence of the franchise owner Javed Afridi.
The report also said that PCB has also extended a proposal of making China a neutral venue for Pakistan cricket team matches instead of UAE and other countries. A number of international cricket teams refused to play in Pakistan due to security concerns.
