Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola received a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) jersey from his friend Virat Kohli and he was visibly beaming with pride. The legendary football coach has always been a good fan of Kohli and the RCB, who registered a thrashing win over Rajasthan Royals (RCB) in Match 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in Mumbai on April 22.

Applauding RCB’s unbeaten run in IPL 2021, former Barcelona midfielder Pep Guardiola was seen showering praises on Virat Kohli and his side’s efforts and felt the time has come for him to also learn more about the game and its rules.
Earlier last year, during an Instagram live session organized by PUMA, Virat and Pepe were seen engaging with each other over an enthralling conversation about their love for football. The Spaniard, who has guided Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City to multiple league titles, had also expressed his desire to know more about cricket.

Kohli played a crucial role in RCB’s 10-wicket win over RR at the Wankhede on Thursday night. Devdutt Padikkal (101 not out) and Virat Kohli’s (72 not out) opening partnership helped the team to chase down the target of 178 with 21 balls to spare after a superb performance by the bowlers saw them restrict RR to 177 for 9 in 20 overs.
